How about a way to add a note to each contact/lead/account that is mass emailed? If I send a mass email to 100 leads the only way to note it is to manually add a note. Very hard. Maybe I'm missing something.

I use a Mac. I can sync Google calendar to ical, so I need a Mac based solution to sync Zoho CRM's calendar to Google OR a way to synch Zoho CRM's calendar to iCal.
I see this as a major drawback to Zoho CRM. Any way to make either of these work for mac users?

First I love zoho,BUT its missing one critical element in their crm.That is,you cannot do a simple mail marge,with your leads etc,and address a #10 envelope and letterhead. The other is,the layout of their label template is not correct for use in the United States,so its useless to me.
It crucial for salesman to be able to easily mail their clients.
PLEASE HELP,the microsoft office plug in ,is not hacking it.
We would really like to have the Zoho Creator data base functionality integrated into the CRM, with access to the applications within the CRM as well as the ability to synchronise data from COntacts/ Potentials/ Leads etc via drop box field mapping.
Eventually integration with reporting, both ways, would also be very nice.
First Idea - Allow creation of Leads fro existing accounts and contacts. Set it up so that you can then convert the lead without creating duplicate accounts and contacts. We use the potentials tab for opportunities that have passed through our lead scoring/qualifying process. Adding this functionality will dramatically reduce data entry and database maintenance.
Second Idea - Allow workflow rules to send alerts to the record owner. This will allow people to create workflow rules on a wider range of tiopics. Our company has 30 users. With the limit of 20 workflow rules per module that means is we need to customize a workflow for each user we can only effectively create ONE rule, and apply it to only 2/3 of our users.
Third Idea - Allow users to define the width of columns in Views. Currently the number of characters in the field label and the number of labels in the view determines the width of each column. This makes creating custom views very cumbersome and many fields are often hard to read.
Fourth Idea. FIX THE WORKFLOW RULES. Right now the only way a workflow alert for a date based trigger functions properly is if you create the record on the date of workflow trigger. This makes it quite useless as a reminder.
Fifth Idea - In the e-mail alerts triggered by workflow rules include a hyperlink to take you directly top the record that triggererd the workflow alert. The only way to currently have this functionality is to create a workflow task, which then creates more data entry and reduces productivity.
I want to be able to see the emails sent to leads from Zoho account(which is connected to Google Apps) in the sent mails of Apps account.
It would be a big time saver to have possibility to change values in a list view and not only in a detail view.
This quick edit is possible in Adwords recent upgraded interface. There I can change keyword bid in right in a keywords list, without need to go to another page as it was in a previous Adwords interface. I really don't imagine Zoho CRM without current ajax editing for certain fields! I don't remmember when I used last time that grey "edit" buton at the top of detail pages (contacts, accounts, inventory modules...). I use only ajax field edit. So, I think this suggestion to edit from a list view would mean a big increase in usability and time saving.

I would like multiple users per activity - if there is a phone call with a contact, but I have two of my company's people on the call, I want that event to show up on both users' calendars.
It would be nice if you could map field data across modules.
For instance a telephone number field in the prospects module that syncs with the contact module. Or Notes and descriptions that sync with the contact modules. It's more productive for some people.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Their forums are full of questions about integrating with you guys, and google is full of lists of top 10 resources for small to medium companies and both of you are on every one!
Please find a way of integrating with them so that they can access my contacts and leads, and any changes through them as a result of opt out and new contacts can recorded in zoho crm.

Seems simple, but why can't Zoho track my email to verify (see) if they are opened (post sending) or let me how many times those emails are 'touched'. Simple feature in SFDC.

recently migrated from SF to Zoho and I'm impressed with the additional features. however, i really miss iPone connectivity and integration with my Google Calender - would love to see both ASAP.
I would like to be able to attach emails from Outlook to “potentials” just the same way you can attach emails to “contacts.”
Currently Under Potentials, emails get attached only if it is done through Zoho but we are only using Outlook for now.

I would love to have the ability to scroll through tasks, calls or emails. For example, when click on a call to view the notes from your call, it would be nice to be able to click a "next" or "back" button to see the details of the next call or event, without have to go back and choose another entry.
Alternatively, you could have a "view history" option for each subgroup so you could click on View History for all your calls/events, or all your emails and it would open a window with all the details laid out historically for a quick overview.
I would like to see a sync solutions with mobile devices for contacts, calendar and tasks.
I would like to see a desktop version with online sync.
I would like to see a version that includes multiple contacts on the potential records.
I'd like to see an dropbox ala 37 Signal's Highrise. I can't seem to figure out a quick way to get outgoing emails from my Outlook into Zoho.

Please make ONE BUTTON that makes all Lead, Potential, Account, and Contact field lists and page layouts IDENTICAL. I understand many users will want shorter forms for leads and more expansive ones for Accounts, but it would save a tremendous amount of time for me if the field list and page layout for LEADS were AUTOCLONED on all other sheets. I do understand I can start the field off in all categories, but changes that follow are not updated universally. This would be a big help, thank you!
i would like to see zoho track any changes that were done by a user and list the changes in the contact record.
It would be nice to have a tab that allows us to upload documents that are commonly used for our business, such as, sales document, brochures and applications.
When a phone number is clicked, instead of automatically invoking skype with a set format, allow users to define what will be done with the number.
For example, I use Jajah, and would like to invoke a URL page in the format:
"http://www.jajah.com/call/?s=%2b972-2222221&d=%2b33-4565555&quickDialMember=true"

PLEEEAAASE add the following feature asap (I'm getting so much pressure from colleagues who just don't understand CRM/relational databases because of this). I also have no doubt that the following tweak would be of benefit to ALL Zoho CRM users:
Just as I can use TWO data groups as the basis for a report i.e. ACTIVITIES + CONTACTS (though I hope you will enhance this to allow EVERY FIELD to be included)... I URGENTLY need you to allow me to add more fields to a customised ACTIVITY view.
My specific reason: we're a brand new internet via satellite company. As you (and my fellow ZOHOers) can imagine, my colleagues expect miracles from me (and therefore you) in admin. It's immediately become apparent that the guys on the road categorise leads/clients BY ADDRESS. If I say, "have you seen Mr Johnson?" they stare at me with blank aggression. However, if I say, "have you been to Nº 14 Jupiter Avenue?" they pretty much know who I'm talking about.
So, when I'm preparing an ACTIVITY summary list for them, I REALLY REALLY need to be able to include the street (mailing street in the default) in the grid summary.
And, while I'm on my knees, I'm sure I speak for all when I request the ability to OPT for advanced search, allowing us to locate data in ANY field. As things stand, if a colleague on the road refers to a street number, rather than a contact/account name, I'm reduced to browsing an entire list view (having alphabetically sorted by STREET field).
Final thing for now before regaining my dignity, please allow us to save a list view/report AFTER we have chosen the default FIELD/SORT ORDER. i.e. I make a report, then click to sort by, for example, street name, THEN I save, so that when it is opened, it comes up automatically in THAT order.
I wouldn't be so grovelling if I didn't think your time tweaking this would be of benefit to ALL your clients.

• Better Attachments File recognition. When I try to attach a MacOS "numbers or pages or keynote" file, it failed to attached it.
Multiple email address support:
I understand there is the ability to add an additional email field to a contact, but the functionality here needs to be drastically revised. Currently, this second email address does not log under the contact email history, nor is it available as a send address when using the Send Mail button within CRM.
We recently migrated from GoldMine. I hate GoldMine, but there is one thing they did well: Email. I suggest copying them. Change the email field to an editable picklist, this is much more user friendly than having to add an entirely new field to every contact record because one person has 2, 3,.. n, email addresses. If the email is currently associated to the contact, then all email communication from that address should also be associated to the contact. This will also solve the problem of losing email= histories if a contact changes their email address, as you'll no longer have to replace the address.
I don't know about everyone else, but this is a major issue for us.

Would be cool to have a Zoho Sheet as a custome field type. Also, instead of just having attachments, it would be cool to have attachements as field types. We have certain required attachments and would be ideal to have "Upload Form A" and "Upload Form B", etc. We have enough to where it is confusing to have everything under attachments.

I would really appreciate the ability to use the 24 hour clock rather than having to convert to am/pm format.
It would be great to be able to get to information that is shown on the screen in reports e.g. time stamps for the activities closed.
Ability to store emails easily from other apps would be a real boon.

I'm trying to export a report that gives me the contact details (including company name) for one of my campaigns.
I seem to be able to export contact info but it wont' allow me to export a company name. A contact person is not useful if I don't know what company they are associated with. Help!
Please keep the header bar (lead, activity, contact, etc. tabs) in place so I don't have to scroll up every time I put in a note or activity.
500 emails a day is very unrealistic for an e-commerce business with a large contact list.
What about an API to integrate a Mass Email Provider such as Constant Contact or aWeber (my preference)?
