We are very happy to announce our new release. In this release, we have mainly focused on the Role-based security administration for medium-range organizations, auto-responders as part of the email marketing, enhancements in data administration, customization of the product, usability enhancements and reports. In addition, we will be supporting many international languages and Wiki-based Context-sensitive help for all features.

1. New Features

Roles-based Security Administration 

  • Profiles for managing CRM module-level permissions
  • Roles for modeling organizational hierarchy and setting up data sharing rules
  • Groups for sharing the data among various departments
  • Field-level security for controlling the access rights (View or Edit) of fields in CRM modules

Important Note: All our existing users are requested to refer the Transition Guide for Security Administration before making any changes in the new role-based security modules (Profiles, Roles, Groups, Data Sharing Rules, and Field-level Security).

Auto-responders

  • Manage series of auto-responders for a better customer communication
  • Manage target email lists before scheduling auto-responders
  • Exclude leads and contacts from target lists once the response is received

2. Major Enhancements

Product Customization

  • Customization of fields in the Related List Views
  • Enhancements in the customization of Pick list values
  • New custom field support for managing decimal numbers
  • Storing singular label value for Tabs while renaming the tabs (Ex: Leads - Plural, Lead - Singular)

Inventory Management

Data Administration

  • Import 10000 records per batch in Professional Edition. The import limit has been extended to 20000 records per batch for Enterprise Edition
  • Perform de-duplication check while importing the data. (Available in Enterprise Edition)
  • Generate reports by linking Email module with other CRM modules

3. Other Enhancements

  • Send email to the contacts related to business potentials
  • Attach multiple documents while creating email templates
  • Add additional attachments without changing the old one from the template
  • Populate account details automatically while creating contacts for the account
  • Add Full Name before the From email ID (Ex: "John Doe" <jdoe@testdomain.com>) while sending an email to lead and contacts
  • Activate or Inactivate users in bulk
  • Performance improvements in the Outlook Plug-in
  • Upload and remove attachments while adding email from MS Outlook to CRM
  • Attach e-mail to the respective lead or contact while sending it from MS Outlook
  • Overhaul of the User Interface
  • SSL support for Enterprise/Professional Edition
