Yes, it is possible to import your companies information in Accounts module. For this purpose, please use the Import Accounts function in Accounts tab.

Currently we have provided Skype calling from Zoho CRM. Our technical team has plans to come up with integration with Eyebeam. Once the feature is done, we will keep posted the update.

Hi Geary,

You will be able to drag and drop the fields from the Edit Page Layout. You may try using the Right-click of your mouse to drag-n-drop the fields and let us know if you still face any issue.

Hi,


Few questions around various items.


1. How do you perform an old fashioned mailmerge to go via snailmail?

i.e. merge contact info with a letter in a wordprocessor which would be directly mailed to the contact?


2. Why is there only 1 line for street address?


3. When you change lead source can you make it automatically change the account source?


4. When you enter a contact under an account why does it not automatically take the account phone and fax number etc.


5. Can you attach an existing email to a contact without the outlook connector


6. My quotes do not automatically calculate the VAT (Tax) per item or as a total, how can I change that?


7. When working with quotes and you have selected a product name previously created, can you get the system to complete the list price as well as the unit proce automatically? or can you take the list price out or vice versa?


Hope they all make sense and haven't been answered elsewhere.

Hi Kevin,

1. Mail merge option is currently not available, we are working on it. It will be implemented asap.

2. You can add one more text field to your street address if you want to have more information.

3. The Lead Source will be converted to the Potential Source. For further information you can check with :

4. We have plans to come up with the account phone & fax number auto populating fields in our future releases.

5. Yes. You can use the Outlook Plugin to sync the existing emails to the contact that you have in Zoho CRM.

6. You can goto Setup --> Product Settings --> Customize Tax Rages to have customized tax.

7. The list price will be maintained in the Price Books so we have to select the exact price book that we need. We will also try to automatically fetch the list price that is related to the price book in our future updates.

couple quick things.


Re. no 1 and no 4 above, what is the indicative timescale?


Re. no 2, do I do that by simple adding a new custom field and moving to the position I want or is there another way?


Re. no 7, can you explain this differently as I don't understand the answer. I'm confused on the point of having the two prices in a product, when completing the quote it takes away a vital piece of automation.


It also appears you have to click on the tax hyperlink to get it to automatically calculate the tax and add to the quote, is this how it should work?

We are planning to implement it in another 4-6 months of time. As the release date is subject to change, we can't commit a exact time frame for the release.

Currently we have the mentioned option. If you have any suggestions, please let us know so that we can try enhancing the feature.

Normally we have to select the Product & the Price Books separately with the current type we have in Zoho CRM. We have plans to auto-populate the other items once you select the Product.

We have the option to edit the tax options in the line items. You can specify it from Setup --> Product Settings --> Customize Tax Rates.

Hi,

How is it possible to create your own category to put contacts in? Currently the customers are divided into contacts, accounts, leads, potentials etc. I am looking for a user-define category such as all my contacts in the education industry etc. Perhaps a label functionality??

@ Ayesha: You can create a additional custom field under "contacts" as "Contact type" and categorize it based on your business process. To add the custom field, goto setup--->contact settings--->field list--->add new custom field--->select pick list as a field type and add the values.

This will show up under your contact page layout. You can run reports & create custom views based on these values as well.
