QuickBooks Field Mapping
Map the custom fields while importing, exporting or synchronizing data between Zoho CRM and QuickBooks.
To map the fields in Zoho CRM
- Click Setup in Zoho CRM.
- In the setup page under the Add-ons, click the QuickBooks Integration link.
- In the screen that appears, click QuickBooks Field Mapping.
- Select the required fields to map between Zoho CRM and QuickBooks.
- Click the Add Mappings link to add more fields.
- Click Save.

Note:
- Zoho CRM does not validate field mapping. It should be done by you.

Select "QB CUSTOM FIELD..." from the respective QuickBooks Field Name lists, to map the custom fields created in QuickBooks (Only for QuickBooks custom fields).

Enter the exact custom field label in the QB Custom field text box.
Unless the exact Custom field label is entered in the text box, the fields will not be merged.

While mapping the fields, please map similar field types, like Zoho date field with QB date field, Zoho integer field with QB integer field, etc., so that the merging will be proper.

While mapping Picklist, Multiselect picklist, please ensure that all the incoming record values are available in the corresponding field values.
For example:
If the QB contact's salutation value is XXX, then this XXX should be available in the Zoho CRM's salutation picklist field.
Otherwise this value will not be saved properly.

You can map the Zoho custom date field with a QB field (text), but the date values in QB field should be entered in YYYY-MM-DD format, otherwise random/empty date value will be updated or the update will not happen properly.
- Zoho CRM does not support Look up, Multi-select picklists and other module relationship fields like Vendor Name, Campaign Source, etc., as in the Contacts module.
Zoho CRM supports Date and Datetime fields.
The Date field value in QuickBooks should be in YYYY-MM-DD format and Datetime value should be in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format.

Zoho CRM does not support the Field lengths.
For example:
Consider the scenario: Phone field length in Zoho CRM is 50 and in QB it is 21.
In such cases, when the Zoho CRM records the phone value that has more than 21 characters (values' length > 21), then an error will occur while trying to add/modify this record in Quickbooks.
This error will be shown in the Sync Status page, only if Zoho CRM field is mapped with QuickBooks standard field.
Suppose, if Zoho CRM field is mapped with QuickBooks custom field and Zoho CRM field length exceeds, then the error will not be shown.
Time Zone Mapping
Make sure that your Computer time zone matches exactly with your Zoho CRM time zone, to avoid any unexpected errors in data synchronization.
To set time zone in Zoho CRM
- Click Setup in Zoho CRM.
- In the Setup page under Personal settings, click Account Information link.
- Select your Time Zone to match your desktop time zone.
- Click Save.

To set time Zone in the Computer (Only Windows)
- In the taskbar, right click on the time, and then click Adjust Date/Time.
- Click the Time Zone tab and select your local time from the list.
- Click OK.
