Install QuickBooks Web Connector

QuickBooks Web Connector (QWC) is an application that enables specifically designed Web services to exchange data with QuickBooks.

To check if QuickBooks Web Connector is installed or not, please follow the simple steps below:

  1. Click the Start button on your desktop.
  2. Under Programs, click QuickBooks.

To install QuickBooks Web Connector, download it from: http://marketplace.intuit.com/webconnector/.

Download QuickBooks Web Connector file from Zoho CRM

This page helps you to download the QWC file by giving your QuickBooks Company file path.

To download QWC file from Zoho CRM

  1. Click Setup in Zoho CRM.
  2. In the Setup page, under Add-ons, click QuickBooks integration.
  3. Scroll down, and then click Download QWC file link.
  4. Select the Company File to which you want to Import/Export/Synchronize data.
  5. Click Download QWC file.

Note:

  • Specify the QuickBooks Company file name with full path in the text field or locate it on your desktop.
    This Company data will be merged with Zoho CRM during the sync.
  • Once the file path is specified, Zoho CRM will generate a QWC file (file with .qwc extension ).
  • Save this QWC file on your desktop and add it in QuickBooks Web Connector using the 'Add Application 'option.
  • Once the QWC file is added in QWC, you can run this application to sync data between QuickBooks and Zoho CRM.

Install Integration Application in QuickBooks Web Connector (QBWC)

  1. Open QuickBooks Web Connector by clicking Start > Programs > QuickBooks > Menu, and then click Add an Application.
  2. In the “Select a .QWC file” dialog box, browse the .qwc file which is downloaded from Zoho CRM, and then click Open.
  3. In the “Authorize New Web Service” window, review the application information, and then click OK to connect QuickBooks with Zoho CRM.
  4. In the “QuickBooks – Application Certificate” window, select “Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running”, and then click Continue.
    Note: It is mandatory that you select “Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running”.
  5. Review the status of Zoho CRM - QWC application. Once it is completed, click Exit.
  6. You can change the application preferences or remove the application permission from QuickBooks under File or Edit menu -> Preferences -> Company Preferences -> Integrated Application.
