1. How to add our own invoice number in the Invoices - list view?
In Zoho CRM, it is possible to customize the invoice number as per your organization requirements.
Step 1: Goto, Setup --> Invoice Settings --> Fields List -->New Custom Field --> Create Auto Number type field.
In Invoice module, add Auto-Number type custom field. This field can be named as Invoice Number.
Step 2: Goto, Setup --> Invoice Settings --> Edit Page Layout --> Drag Invoice Number field from Available Fields List.
In the Invoice Module, add Invoice Number field in the page layout. Also hide the existing field.
Step 3: Goto Template --> Inventory Templates --> Edit Invoice Template --> Update Invoice Number field.
In the Templates module, update the Invoice template with the newly created Invoice Number Custom field.
2. How can inventory templates folder be created?
To create Inventory templates folder
- Click the Setup link.
- In the Setup: Home page, under the Templates section, click the Inventory Templates link.
- In the Inventory Templates page, click the New Folder button.
- In the Folder Details do the following:
- Folder Name: Specify name of the folder.
- Description: Specify additional information about folder.
- Accessibility Details: Select one of the following options:
- All Users are allowed to view this Template Folder: Select if you would like to enable the folder access for all the users.
- Show this Template Folder only to me: Select if you would like to enable the folder access only to you.
- Allow the following users to view this Template Folder: Select the users or user roles that can access the folder.
- Click Save.
The new folder can be used while creating new inventory templates.
Can I import product details from an external source into the CRM System?
You can import products, if you are authorized to perform this operation. Otherwise, Import Products button in Products Home page will be hidden in your user interface.
To import product details from external sources
- Click on the Products tab.
- In the Products: Home page, under Product Tools section, click on the Import Products button.
- In the Import Products page, browse the Products-related data in CSV/XLS format and then click the Submit button.
- In the Fields Mapping page, map the CSV/XLS column header with product related fields in Zoho CRM.
- Click the Import button. It will take a few seconds to complete the importation.
- In the Products: Home page, imported products are displayed under the Products List section. You can continue the importation further or complete the operation.
