  1. How to change fiscal year information for my company?
  2. Ans:Currently the default fiscal year is configured as January to December. In future updates, we will provide an option to change the fiscal/financial year.

  3. As an administrator why can't I access my forecasts?
  4. Ans:There could be two reasons :
    Reason 1: You may have hidden your forecast tab. Please check by following these steps:

    1. Click on Setup.
    2. Under Tab settings click Organize tabs.
    3. Select the forecast from the Unselected tabs and add it to the selected tabs and Save it.

    Reason 2: You may have restricted the permission from your profile. Please follow these steps to check:

    1. Click on Setup.
    2. Under Admin settings click Profiles.
    3. Click Edit which shows next to your profile and make sure if the check boxes shown next to forecast are checked. If not check and Save it.

  5. How do I ensure each Rep can only see the Forecast they own?
  6. Ans: In Zoho CRM, you can set up the organization-wide hierarchy using the Roles module. In Zoho CRM, role function provides access privilege to various modules, fields, and special functions, such as import, export, merge records, lead conversion, and others. Users associated to the specific role can access functions that are assigned to them. This can be done by changing their profile to standard.

  7. Can I view the forecasts categorized monthly instead of Quarters like Q1,Q2?.
  8. Ans: Yes, when you click on the Quarters column (Q1, Q2), you can see the monthly split (Q1 as Jan, Feb, March etc.)

  9. I am trying to run forecasts but am being told by the system that I have insufficient privileges. My user has the administrator role assigned so this should not be the case.
  10. Ans: Please check if you have removed the "Forecast Tab". If yes, add it back and the issue will be resolved. Please follow the simple steps below:

      1. Click on Setup.
      2. Under Tab settings click Organize Tabs.
      3. Select Forecast from the Unselected tabs and click add and Save it.
