Copy Customization

"Copy Customization"  makes Zoho CRM  a Customer Relationship Management system that encourages vertical offerings in place of  horizontally focused generic CRM system.  This allows experts from different verticals to Custom-build Zoho CRM as per the industry specific requirements and then deploy the Customized CRM into Customers' CRM accounts.

Copy Customization Procedure

  1. Zoho CRM User sends Request Activation form
  2. Activation request is reviewed and approved by Zoho Team*
  3. Copy Customization feature is enabled for the requested Zoho User
  4. Zoho User enters the User name and password (for the recipient of the Copy Customization)
  5. Recipient receives a confirmation mail
  6. Copy Customization starts only after the recipient confirms the process

Request Activation

In order to enable the Copy Customization feature for your Zoho CRM account, you need to request an activation by submitting the Request Form. This is a one time activation form.

To Request activation

  1. Click on Setup > Admin Settings > Copy Customization
  2. In the Copy Customization page, fill the Request Form and Click on Send
  3. The Activation request will be reviewed and responded(through Email) by Zoho CRM support. 
Note: The Copy Customization feature gets enabled ONLY after the Activation request is confirmed.

Process "Copy Customization"

After reviewing the activation request, the Copy Customization feature is enabled for the Zoho User . The Zoho user should necessarily get the User name and password of the CRM customer to which s/he is processing the "Copy Customization".

To process "Copy Customization"

  1. Click on Setup > Admin Settings > Copy Customization
  2. In the Copy Customization page, fill the Customer's Username and password fields.
  3. Click on Copy
  4. The Copy Customization scheduler starts only after the customer confirms the process

Important Notes:

  • "Copy Customization" is a ONE time process and you cannot process "Copy Customization" a second time for the same customer.
  • You can use the "Copy Customization" to copy system-level configurations such as between two different accounts
